Fall Campout

We will be visiting Yorktown during the Victory Celebration on Saturday, October 19th. We will meet at the American Revolution Museum (200 Water Street, Yorktown, VA 23690) at 10:00am (tentative schedule provided below).

Class A uniforms are required for the Yorktown visit (unless your Scout is new this year and has not yet acquired a uniform).

Pack families will camp next to the Chickahominy River near Jamestown Friday and Saturday night at Chickahominy Riverfront Park. The Pack will provide breakfast and dinner for Saturday. All other meals will be each family's responsibility. Families are welcome to camp Friday night or Saturday night or both. Camping is not required to visit Yorktown with the Pack.

Camping is $5 per person per night.

Passes for Yorktown will need to be purchased directly through their website or onsite.

Friday

1:00pm - Campsite available for check-in (dinner on your own)

Saturday

8:00am - Breakfast (eggs, pancakes, bacon)

10:00am - Meet at American Revolution Museum

12:00pm - Lunch (on your own)

3:00pm - Artillery Demonstration at Army Encampment

4:30pm - Leave Yorktown for campground

6:00pm - Dinner at campground (foil packs w/ turkey smokies and vegetables)

7:00pm - Campfire Program

8:00am - Breakfast (on your own)

11:00am - Campground check-out
