Weekend Experience

November 16th

@ Cub Adventure Camp (1699 Maidens Rd Maidens, VA 23102)

Pack 1833 is spending a day at the beautiful Cub Adventure Camp in Goochland!

COPE and shooting sports programs have been scheduled for Saturday (schedule below). COPE(Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience) is a BSA program that utilizes a ropes/challenge course. Challenge courses have been around since the early 1900’s and were introduced to the BSA program in 1975. Since that time they have been a key part of developing leadership and team building throughout the BSA.

The shooting sports program is about learning how to use a bow & arrow and BB gun safely and properly. If your Scout has never experienced this before, it will be a great introductory course. All ages can participate in archery, but Lions aren't allowed to use BB guns per BSA policy.

Saturday lunch will be provided by the Pack. Lunch will be hot dogs and chips.

Program cost is $25 per Scout/child.
